Rip DVD in Windows 7

DVD contains folder and file which are specially developed for DVD player but not for computer. If you import a DVD on your computer, you will see Video _ TS and Audio _ TS. The Audio _ TS is empty. And the extensions of Video _ TS files usually are .VOB, .IFO and .BUP.
The .VOB files are actually the .MPEG or video files and only these files contain video. The .IFO files contain information like scenes and time. The .BUP files are backup files of the .IFO files. These files aren’t related to computers. If you double click a .VOB file in the occasion of not having any DVD player installed on your computer, the computer shows that it can’t open the file. But there is a method that will let your computer play this file.
Change the file extension (not the name) into .mpg. I can not guarantee it can work. It depends on the codec on your computer. If it doesn’t work, you have to rip DVD with simple software.
If you get a DVD or DVD quality video and you want to rip it.  You can choose CloneDVD. It can rip DVD to AVI, ASF, MP4, 3GP and which are compatible with Windows Media Player and portable devices.
CloneDVD can remove/decrypt/bypass almost all known DVD copy protections. Rip all DVD discs to make your DVD region-free by decrypting all region protections.
How to rip DVD in Windows 7:
First, just download CloneDVD for trial and launch it on Windows 7.
Second, insert DVD to DVD drive.
Third, choose copy as movies files and output format.
